Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct must be adhered to by all visitors to The Wriggle Room (TWR), in order to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment. Visitors should respect the health and safety of each other while on the studio premises and must comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements of the studio. Any internal signage displayed around the studio should be treated as part of the Code of Conduct. If a visitor is seen to be in breach of the Code of Conduct, management reserves the right to terminate their participation in TWR activities and take further action if deemed appropriate.

Safe and Harassment-Free Zone

Sexual or other types of harassment aren’t welcome at TWR. Any uninvited sexual behaviour that makes a person feel offended, humiliated or intimidated is considered harassment. Sexual harassment can be physical, verbal or written, can include comments about a person’s physical appearance or sexual characteristics, or intrusive questions about sexual or romantic activity, and doesn’t have to be repeated to be harassment.

Zero Tolerance to Assault

Physical or sexual assault is against the law and will not be tolerated. Anyone found to be physically or sexually aggressive will be asked to leave. Further action may be taken if needed.

Damage to Property

Any visitor who causes damage to equipment or any property of TWR will be held liable for damages. Visitors will be held responsible for damage caused by their children or guests.

Personal Belongings

Please help us keep the studio clean by taking your belongings home with you and disposing of your rubbish appropriately.

Illness / Physical Condition

Due to the studio size and therefore necessary physical closeness of visitors, please refrain from attending TWR whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other ailment where there is a risk (however small) to other students and guests.

If you are participating in dance or exercise related events at TWR, please ensure you have approval from your HealthCare Professional if required.
